Kamut®
Kamut® is an ancient grain that originated from the middle east. The demand for the grain grew rapidly in Europe as it was said to digest easier compared to modern wheat. Kamut® is used in many products including pasta, breads, beer, and more. Canada is the primary exporter of Kamut®.
Lentils
The popular legume, known as lentils, is also one of our most popular commodities. We offer black, beluga, French, eston, and laird lentils. These legumes give our customers and consumers an excellent source of iron, magnesium, protein, and B vitamins.
Flax Brown / Golden
We offer both brown and golden flax seed which add a delicious nutty flavour with extra nutritious benefits to baked goods. Flax is also known for its fiber and oil. Flax seeds contain essential fatty acids including omega-3 and omega-6. Eating foods rich in dietary fiber is thought to slow digestion which improves blood sugar levels and is a good source of iron, calcium, and potassium.
Hard Red Spring Wheat
Hard Red Spring Wheat is world renowned for some of the best bread-making wheat in the world. It is a good source of fibre and is high in manganese and selenium. This grain has one of the highest sources of protein content out of all the wheats.
Peas Yellow / Green
We offer both yellow and green peas whole. Peas are naturally high in potassium, folate, fibre – all of which provide nutritional benefits. The high-quality protein, vitamins, and minerals make them part of a healthy eating plan.
